DimensionsH 28 cm (11 in) × W 31 cm (12.2 in) × D 14 cm (5.5 in)
Date code formatSame era-dependent system as all Neverfulls: stamped two-letter + four-digit date code on bags ~2007-March 2021 (digits 1/3 = week, 2/4 = year); RFID microchip and NO readable date code after ~March 2021. Not a standalone authenticity test.
Stamp placementDate-code era: interior seam tab / near interior pocket. RFID era: chip embedded in lining.
Stamp fontHeat stamp thin, crisp, level, evenly spaced, round O's; 'L' has a short tail, the O looks larger than other letters, and the strokes of the TT nearly touch (widely repeated authentication detail; snippet-sourced).

Authentication:Vachetta handles/trim; uniform symmetric side-tab stitching in warm yellow thread; ~2 cm spacing cited from bag top to heat-stamp/hardware stitching. Dimensions vary by source/era: L31 x H28 x W14 cm is the most commonly cited current figure; some resale sources cite ~L32 x H29 x W17. Snippet-sourced.

Serial & authentication tags

date codemedium
FormatTwo letters (factory/country location code) followed by four digits. For bags from ~2007 to March 2021, digits 1 and 3 indicate the week of the year and digits 2 and 4 indicate the year. (Earlier pre-2007 LV formats differ and are out of scope for the Neverfull, which launched 2007.)
PlacementStamped discreetly inside the bag, commonly on an interior seam/leather tab or near the interior pocket; placement varies by model and era.
Year rangec.2007 - March 2021 (date-code era)
How to readFirst two letters = factory/country location code (do NOT rely on unverified location-code lookup tables). Remaining four digits: positions 1 and 3 together = week of the year; positions 2 and 4 together = year. The decoded week/year should be plausible for the canvas, hardware and lining style. A date code is NOT sole proof of authenticity and is easily faked.

Notes:Date code is era-specific and was DISCONTINUED around March 2021. Do not present it as universal. Snippet-sourced; verify physically.

RFID chipmedium
FormatEmbedded RFID microchip with no human-readable number; readable only by Louis Vuitton boutique equipment.
PlacementSewn into the lining of the bag.
Year rangec. March 2021 - present (RFID era)
How to readNot human-readable. Newer Neverfulls have NO visible/stamped date code. A seller claiming a stamped date code 'proves' a brand-new 2022+ bag is authentic should be treated with caution, because genuine recent bags do not have one.

Notes:Critical era distinction: around March 2021 LV replaced the stamped date code with this embedded RFID chip. Absence of a date code on a recent bag is normal, not a red flag. Snippet-sourced; verify.
